Mary was born in Appleby in circa 1780
William Jackson born Brayton  Yorkshire circa 1766
On 1841 census they are married and  living on West End  Winteringham
William Jackson  age 75 ag. lab
Mary Jackson  age 60
By 1851 census they are living in High Burgage Winteringham
William Jackson  PAUPER age 83  late  ag. lab.
Mary Jackson age 71.
Two other paupers were living nearby in the alms houses.
In 1859, the overseers of the poor applied for an order of ejectment from a parish house (the old almshouses) for Mary.
1861 Mary Jackson died in Winteringham age 81
Her husband died in Winteringham aged 84, and was buried on June 2nd 1853.
